The breakfast here offers a wide variety of delicious food, and the location near Plasencia is beautiful, with a restaurant on-site and a charming old square nearby.

Everything was exceptional, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT location next to the ferry at Santander, the center of the old town and the restaurant, excellent staff. Had a mini-bar, central heating and a work desk in my twin room. The bed was good, slept good. Was a perfect base for trip.

An excellent Hospedería situated in a sleepy historic town square. Perfectly adequate accommodation. Good local food served in the restaurant. Delightful and helpful staff. The town is not affluent so spend a little money in their market place before leaving.

The little city of Garovillas is absolutely charming and not known at all. You will enjoy the huge Plaza Mayor and the typical athmosphere of the city with no tourists at all. The hotel has been ideally refurbished in a design style within an old huge and impressive mansion. Extremely well done and conceived. Whilst the dinner was bad and disappointing, the breakfast was very good on the other hand. We can only recommend this place
The only thing which was not worth is, was the dinner included in the half board. It was quite bad and not made of fresh products although we were in spring. If you can, eat out.

All the staff were friendly and helpful; some had little English but were prepared to take time and effort to ensure they/we were understood. Feather/down pillows available on request at no extra cost. Extremely good value particularly given the high quality of the hotel - we had the half-board package.
Not much information in English.

The building and its location are fabulous. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and their spoken english was good. Both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable. We only stayed one night but would very much like to return for longer.

Everything was perfect. Cosy and quiet small town in the center of countryside - ideal place to relax for bored city residents. Pleasant interiors. Nice swimming pool. Nearby there are some walking routes along Extremadura's countryside. Of course, you have to get the car to reach that town. Nice restaurant with amazing local specialties. The food was fresh and delicious. For cheese gourmet I recommend to taste the first item in the menu (all the menu is in Spanish as long as nobody in the restaurant speaks english - ask for "quesa cremosa" - wonderfull local cheese)
